About this deal

The book contains nearly 150 photos taken by MacCormack throughout the years, some never seen before: from touring the Ziggy Stardust and Aladdin Sane shows and sailing to New York on a world tour, to Bowie’s first major film The Man Who Fell to Earth and the recording of Station to Station and his Thin White Duke persona. And now David Bowie: Rock ‘n’ Roll With Me is out in the world — perhaps the closest you’ll get to being on tour with Bowie in that era without a time machine and a backstage pass. I showed the negative of this shot to the legendary printer Robin Bell, he said he’d see what he could do. The other shot I took, at the same time as this, is the cover of my book ‘Rock ‘n’ Roll with Me’, which has a certain heroic look while this image shows a small amount of vulnerability. We’re incredibly proud to be publishing Geoff’s book and know fans, old and new, will be as enthralled with his book as we all are.

Just suppose your Brilliant Pal said: ‘Will you join my band (The Spiders from Mars) and come on tour?
