About this deal

It is our mission to bring you the latest from the miniature wargaming scene, from narrative missions, hobby how-to tutorials, battle reports, unboxings and reviews, retro flashbacks, news, rumors, and more. Great Weapons are another cool choice but again the loss of the shield is a huge blow, though the pip of rend is nice.

We’ve also chosen to give these chaps The Eroding Icon Ensorcelled Banner, this will worsen the rend of melee weapons used against them by 1, making them even harder to kill! With the above you’ll end up with 10 additional Warriors for when you look to expand to 2,000 points. Unfortunately, the nature of the kit does mean that only one of the four potential Chaos Warrior option weapon fits is available, as these are hand weapon and shield warriors only. If they suffer any wounds, they add 1 to wound rolls in the same phase as they strike back with fury. Scroll of Dark Unravelling: This is your standard one-use auto unbind scroll that many factions have access too, and it’s a solid choice if only because it’s reliable and can potentially shut down an opponent’s plan hard.If you roll a 9-10 you get to put a unit of daemons down on the table which is actually pretty significant. Your Karkadrak does have a heal effect with their axe, if it slays an enemy with the weapon it can heal D3. As well as this he can give a 6+ ward to one of your other units in this list until the next hero phase. This only applies to the Chaos Warriors and Chaos Knights, but these two units with the Mark of Nurgle are already going to be blighters to shift anyway, this will just make it even harder for our oppposition! Hopefully you’re starting to see the tankiness of those Chaos Warriors now with their Mark of Nurgle (-1 to wound them) and a 5+ Ward Save against mortals and 6+ Ward against everything else.

The nice thing here is that they offer benefits that the battletome otherwise has limited access to which is important because of how synergy based this army is. There are also command traits available to heroes that let them fight a second time in a combat phase, roll on a special Eye of the Gods table which offers powerful boons (or treacherous traps on a poor roll), allow them to know all spells in the legion's spellbook, or become a Priest which changes the God keyword on any Undivided cultist in your army. This is a solid if unexciting choice because we want as many units to be covered by our Aura as possible, and Mortal heroes tend to have smaller bases so anything to help bolster the range of it can only be a good thing. You will have a bit of a samey feel to your army though due to the lack of variety in poses and will need to do some work to create your command models.I would be hard pressed to take any of the other choices over this one because this ability is always going to be relevant and is useful to any game plan. It’s meant to be monster focused, but you’ll likely find yourself leaning in on Daemon Princes and mortals instead, which on average will be better (most of our monsters kind of suck sadly).

Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Ally considerations: Lord of Blights lets you make a unit harder to hit (-1 malus) from ranged (or melee if 20+ models) which is nice but CP hungry in a faction starved for it. Anything that effectively shrinks the table and distance your most important units are required to cover to get into melee is a great help. Many Moving Parts –The marks of Chaos don’t do much on their own, what they do is allow certain Heroes and Units to buff units with matching marks. Also included are Path to Glory campaign rules for your army, matched play grand strategies, battle tactics, and core battalions, and warscrolls upon warscrolls upon warscrolls.

You can also build them with wings to allow them to fly or give them a trophy rack of skulls which lets friendly units within 9" of them ignore battleshock tests.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary. In addition, a 6++ Feel no Pain save is a great save after the save, which stacks with the Warshrine’s save and makes your units just that little bit harder to kill. With Chaos Lords you’re also allowed to choose a retinue which you can pass wounds off to on a 3+ (the reasons for this shown in the Chaos Warriors section), for this I’ve chosen the Chaos Warriors, as really he should be sticking to them like glue throughout the game. We could hold back most of our units and play very conservatively – our opponent may take that to mean you know he’s about to get a double turn and move aggressively and decisively as a result, which obviously may backfire spectacularly when you reveal the Dark Prophecy dice and use the following turn to pick out units that are out of position and exposed. Slaves to Darkness heroes project out an aura (12” usually) from their base that gives benefits to units with the same mark as themselves wholly within said aura.Units can only benefit from one Aura at a time and if a unit has multiple Marks of Chaos it must specify which is active at the beginning of the battle, ignoring the others. Instead of a fancy pants list of artefacts to choose from, you may choose a circle for this legion which bestows an a Desecrator Gauntlets: Subtract 2 from casting rolls for enemy Wizards while they are within 3″ of the bearer.
