About this deal

Another bonus of the HD 25 headphones is how easy they are to use. As with most headphones in the modern market, the better your audio source, the better your headphones are going to sound. Despite their age, these are headphones that have easily endured the test of time, with excellent longevity, unforgettable build quality, and amazing music reproduction. Balanced and reliable, the Sennheiser HD25 doesn’t add any extra spice to your sound. This is perfect if you’re looking for something that’s pure, accurate, and reliable. The 70-ohm resistance does mean that you need to ensure you’re using the right source for your music.

These high-performance headphones might have been around for some time, but they’re still as iconic as when they first emerged on the market. It really drove me nuts and I had to replace them. Since I was mad at Sennheiser I went with a different brand, at which time I learned that I really like a coiled, detachable cable with ONE connection point, and that I prefer over-ear cups to on-ear. The unique split headband and swiveling ear cup means the Sennheiser HD 25 are ideal for DJs. Sennheiser Capable of handling very high sound pressure levels and of extremely robust construction, these headphones perform exceptionally well in loud environments, e.g. ENG, sound reinforcement, studio monitoring and audio equipment testing. Ideal monitoring headphones for cameramen and DJs, these are a pair of true sound professionals’ working headphones.I would have given these 5 stars, they sound great and the double head strap can be made very comfortable, but the lead length is very short and I can't think why. Oh, they are a bit tight to start with if you've got a big head, and I don't mean owns over inflated ego! They say it's the "classic HD 25", but the sound signature is completely different. This new pair has a modern "bad headphones" smeared sound. It's hard to tell where anything is sitting in a mix. Everything is just in your face with a huge unnatural bass that is super hyped and not accurate at all. If you’re investing in a new solution for mobile monitoring, audio equipment testing, or music production and you’re keen to discover extra features like studio monitoring, sound reinforcement, and excellence in loud environments, these are the headphones for you. How Good Are the Sennheiser HD25 DJ Headphones? (in short) In terms of headphone specs, it’s hard to argue with the Sennheiser HD 25’s design, even several years after the cans were first released.

Also, they seem really sturdy and well-made, so I think they’re going to last a long time even if I use them every day. Speak to almost any professional in the DJ or music studio landscape about the most iconic headphones in the industry, and you’ll hear about the Sennheiser HD25 headphones.

With a low weight and a one-ear listening option, the HD25 headphones from Sennheiser are a must-have for most DJs and studio owners. The sound is mind-blowing*, no coloration and I didn't notice any holes in frequency spectrum either. This saying is not technically exactly correct but for every day use use of dynamic microphones you will not find gain limitations. At SPL levels above 160 dB some mechanical problems might occur (for example the voice coil might crash onto the magnet) but these SPL levels are very hard to find in real world. I think if you’re new to headphones, the K3003 is probably going to be easier to appreciate than the Aedle.
