About this deal

But "Lune Féline" doesn't contain any valerian or anything else that affects my neighbour's cat, which I chose as a test object. I too had some scary moments with feral cats when I was a young child. Since then , I’m always really careful when I approach cats , feral or not. The third wave, rounded and settled like a return to bed, is balanced and atemporal, just enough of everything to be both familiar and perpetually noticeable: the vanilla is just, the woods are finally polished, the balsams are mellowed and the spices ground.” The composition opens on vibrant accords of warm spices melting with intense and precious woods at its heart. A dark, animalistic quality based on vanilla pods and sensual orchid warmed with bright balsamic notes and musky accords resonates, accentuating the rich, gourmand trail. She avoided me, the cat, for the whole 14 days, eyeing me from afar, suspicious, as it seemed to me.

Lune Feline Eau de Parfum is decadent vanilla fragrance with spicy, woody accents and a dark, animalic presence inspired by the wonders of the moon, powerfully mysterious, attractive, fascinating and seductive. life comes from both the fragrance itself (which starts to warm up with rounded resins and sweeter spices) and from my own expectations being met, as the formula divulges bits you’d want at this point: hard woods, salty stones, and open air on one hand, and fur, herb tea, leather handles, and potted plants on another.” Today I brought out my "Lune Féline" sample to sweeten my grey working day with a lot of labour-intensive files on the PC. As a cat fan I had to have them, just like I originally took a closer look at "The Bewitching Yasmine" from Penhaligon's because of the enchanting cat flacon, only to discover that I really like the scent too. Longevity: Extrait will give 10-12 hours at a relevant strength level, original I'd estimate 7-8 hours. So extrait gets a 9, EDP gets a 7. Lets talk profile. In the air, Lune Féline smells incredible - it is probably the closest you will ever get to a cardamom pastry. It smells 1:1 with bakeries that I've been to, if not better, as there are hints of vanilla and cinnamon in the air that complete the blend.Dark, tropical, deeply mature vanilla opens on my skin, warm and dense and wonderful, not shearing the bean around all those to which it should leave the way it wants the pyramid. I haven’t tried anything by Atelier des Ors yet. I do have a sample set coming my way , it’s just taking longer than usual , due to the circumstances…I would love to win Lune Feline, it sounds so right for me! Conclusion: even though I can perceive the vanilla after about 30 minutes on the second day of testing, the sour wood pile spoils the fragrance for me in such a way that despite beautiful vanilla, there is no desire whatsoever to want to own this fragrance.

The second bit is transitional and clarifying, like getting a lens in focus or like getting adjusted to the dark; life comes from both the fragrance itself (which starts to warm up with rounded resins and sweeter spices) and from my own expectations being met, as the formula divulges bits you’d want at this point: hard woods, salty stones, and open air on one hand, and fur, herb tea, leather handles, and potted plants on another. You can get a different vibe for the scent depending on your body temperature. To test the longevity on this, I put on 4 sprays on both arms 9:30 in the morning, knowing I would go to the gym at 5pm. Sitting at my computer, the extrait remained there even without heat as this smoky-balsamic scent while the original was almost entirely gone by hour 4-5. Once I got to the gym, with both scents 8 hours in, the extrait would radiate around a foot's worth - people would notice it when walking by. With heat, you get a smoky-vanilla, definitely sweeter than it is while just sitting around. The original was actually still there also, but you'd have to smell it from up close and even then it was not that noticeable. Scent: Extrait is an 8.5, EDP is a 9. The original [EDP] keeps the best parts of the scent in tact both in the air and on skin. The summer I turned 6 is wrapped in as much Sinaia memory as my mind then would allow me to store–and if I didn’t know better, I’d still be trying to find meaning to the otherwise benign signs of a banale cognitive leap of an otherwise hyperactive kid-me brain. Instead, allow me to share that, for precisely as long as we vacationed in the somber quarters of the absent Patriarch that summer, I decided to go sleepwalking. It’s wonderful to see how Dana relates that experience she had that day with a fragrance , the parallel is like an olfactory deja-vu!The vanilla takes its time. On the first day it takes but actually 1 1/2 hours until I notice that it will not remain only with this sour note. Slowly rolls up quasi from behind a vanilla cloud, which from the beginning suggests its beauty: warm, soft, dark, creamy and little sweet. Only unfortunately, it doesn't manage to finally displace that tart, resinous woody pile. From now on, I have on my skin quasi a "little tree-change-you" game: sometimes wood pile, sometimes beautiful vanilla. In the base, both cat animals come to rest: Vanilla provides this homely feeling, and while in "Lune Féline" even the animal musk remains discreet, "Yasmine" has to make a statement before she goes to sleep, which cats - sorry! - sometimes do by urine marking. Yes, oud is also a matter of taste, and as is well known, taste is not a matter of dispute. Our respected colleague Sandra has described briefly all five of the Atelier des Ors perfumes in a previous article. For my review, I chose one of the golden five, Lune Féline Atelier des Ors, for its especially alluring and sultry character. The creators describe it as a magnetic star, attracting and seducing. I do not know how stars may guide or pull behind them a ray of light – but perfumes work differently. We were like kids and bears, salivating profusely to the sweet temptation.

In heraldry we can find not only a panther, but also its sweet smell that comes from its ears and mouth as fire flames and smoke (called Panther Incensed). It was not only a feline, by the way – it could be a fire-breathing dog or donkey, four-horned horse, and other chimerical creatures colored in heraldic colors. His French sounded strange, his German too, my father told us it was Saxon. While a French doctor has no problem writing his patients a whole bar of antibiotics and paracetamol booms on the prescription, Landau always relied on the "self-healing powers". My mother still can't pronounce the word. But what I smelled was even finer, more intense and even really elegant. My already gentle, sweet children's Peru balsam was ennobled with excellent vanilla, rounded off with wood and some cinnamon. When i got the samples, all Iris Fauve, Rose Omeyyade , Lune Feline and Rouge Saray stood up to me the most. Other perceived notes: petrol, wet stones, geranium flowers, wax, sugar, metal, smoke. I am intrigued by the notes perceived notes petrol, wax, smoke and metal. My favourite from this house is Rose Ommeyade. Thanks a million from the United Kingdom

Disclaimer: Lune Feline provided by Atelier des Ors. Much appreciated, and right at home in my growing, curatorial vanilla collection. Thank you. Seduction and temptation permeates Lune Féline Eau de Parfum, like a magnetic star or an elaborate symphony, it captures everyone’s attention through its mysterious and entrancing trail. Sillage: It's a bit hard for me to rate this still, even after 2 days of full-wears, but I believe the EDP is a 6 - it will be noticeable for 3-4 hours at arm's length; the extrait is likely to get at least 6 hours at arm's length, I'd give it an 8. Lune Feline opening and dry down are very different. It starts with a blast of red pepper, almost makes me sneeze, but later becomes cozy sweet woody fragrance . I’d say it’s my third favorite Atelier des Ors.

It may be due to the warm summer that "Lune Féline", as a winter fragrance, does not give a hint of anything bright or green on my skin, that the base already appears in my head and competes with the outside warmth.I later bought Pérubore and was horrified: the soft bubbling tablets were replaced by soft capsules containing a piercing lavender eucalyptus oil, horrible. Bottle: It's the same bottle, to me it's an 8 - on par with Roja, Amouage etc. I might be giving them too much here even.
