It’s a complete Halloween-themed experience that has become a local tradition! Of course, there are many things in the cities that threaten us and which we are well aware of. We are used to live with them and many times we don’t even admit them. There are also many things in the forests that threaten us, but because of modern life we forgot how to deal with them. Many times, is enough to keep eyes open and be careful and nothing happens to us. We are visiting forests either to get some benefit (e.g., collect berries) or to go relax. In that case conditions have to be optimal. Nice, sunny, peaceful time… Our life has changed

We saw lots of good looks in here. From a desiccated old guy with a scraggly beard to a sewed-up-face guy with stringy hair. A pig-faced actor had boar-like tusks protruding from the mouth area, and a flat-headed Frankenstein-looking thing carried a huge hammer. Most of the actors appropriately wore some kind of medical apparel.

On the other side where our lives are seriously threatened, we are indifferent and often completely ignore the threats (e.g., cities). This is obviously simplification of this issue but it can be considered as a lesson of our life.

Fear of the Forest is a musical project started in London, UK in 2012 and fronted by Kate Arnold on hammered dulcimer, violin and vocals. The band combines influences from English and French folk, medieval, Renaissance, Middle Eastern and classical music to create a sound that has been described as 'punk baroque'. The songs draw upon folk and fairy tales, mythology, social history, dystopian doom, tensions between technology and humanity, and the strange tales of Kate's half-gypsy grandmother.

Many costumes were of the hayride/countryfied type, like hillbilly overalls and one-piece mechanic jumpers. The braaaaiiiins zombie wore a fashionable duster. The clowns sported rather terrifying masks and full-length clown costumes. The chainsawer’s seriously messed-up face featured metal bolts through its mouth.
