Our 3 in-house oenologists, the ISO quality program and a modern production tool are proof of our dedication in turning the best grapes into one of the greatest wines in the world. Make sure you have your glasses ready and within easy reach. Then, take your bottle and remove the foil; there should be a tag or perforation line to make this easy and neat. The traditional blending of Champagne wines is the secret which renders PANNIER a classic Champagne... And so, the three varieties of Champagne grapes, Chardonnay, Pinot Meunier, Pinot Noir ripen for PANNIER throughout the noble vineyards of Champagne. The Champagne Masters is a competition created and run by the drinks business, and is an extension of its successful Masters series for grape varieties, such as Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, as well as regions like Rioja and Tuscany. The competition is exclusively for Champagne, and the entries were judged using Schott Zwiesel Cru Classic glasses supplied by Sensible Wine Services. The top wines were awarded Gold, Silver or Bronze medals according to their result, and those expressions that stood out as being outstanding received the ultimate accolade – the title of Champagne Master. Among these revelations were the quality of benchmark Brut NV brands, the wonders of the 2012 vintage, as well as the excellence increasingly being found among the rosés. Lesser-known names of note that performed particularly well this year included Palmer, Pannier, Joseph Perrier and Frerejean Frères.

A rigorous selection from grape suppliers of the best vineyards of Champagne along with prolonged ageing periods giving the Champagne PANNIER the opportunity to offer the very best to all champagne lovers. Age old tradition is aided by modern methods at all levels of wine making assuring the coexistence of rigor and creativity. This technical mastery, hailed by all, permits the Cellar Master of PANNIER to produce a champagne of valor and virtue, consistent in PANNIER's style: elegant, well balanced and long. Pannier's cuvées are supplied all over France by a network of representatives ( wine merchant, delicatessens, off-trade, B to B) and are exported to over twenty countries. These wines are distributed through traditional channels as well as duty-free. First class passengers on Virgin Atlantic, Eurostar and United Airlines are served Pannier champagne.

If you can feel the cork pushing to leave the bottle already, get a glass ready. Otherwise, with the bottle gripped in one hand, slowly pull up the cork with the other. It may be quite stiff at first – if so, alternate pulling and twisting motions – but as you go you'll start to feel the pressure from within helping you out. In their quest for producing top quality champagne,Champagne Pannierentrusted the delicate and decisive key task of creating blends to their skilled Chef de Cave,Philippe Dupuis, for the last 37 years. In 2020, he passed the role on toYann Munier, giving him the records of the Maison's wine history to guarantee the transmission of his experience and know-how. Together with the excellent team at Pannier, they have created an elegant range of top quality champagnes with a style focused on the dominant presence of red grapes (Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier), balanced with a strong contribution ofChardonnay. THIS YEAR’S Champagne Masters yielded a set of exciting discoveries, following a sampling of almost 200 bottles in London in August. A rigorous selection from secure grape supplies from the best vineyards of Champagne along with prolonged ageing periods give Champagne PANNIER a strategic edge and offer champagne lovers an exciting diversion.Since 1997, the company received accreditation from the norms ISO and BRC. This framework is part of the ongoing policy of quality control. Located in the Marne valley, with magical wine cellars carved out of a Medieval stone quarry, Maison Pannier has an excellent reputation for the quality and creativity of its champagnes.ChampagnePanniervinfiy four different yet complementary cuvées, specializing in the production of rosés withfleshy, powerful and aromatic characters. Praised year after year by international wine juries, their limited-production champagnes are widely sought after byhigh-class hotels and restaurantsaround the world. Champagne Pannier was founded in 1899 and its head office is situated in Château-Thierry, France. It is the largest champagne house in the western Marne Valley. When opening a bottle of fizz, remember it will behave far better and more predictably if it has been left to sit and chill for a few hours. Warmth and/or rough handling both make for an explosive cork situation and the likelihood of more mess and waste. Champagne should go into glasses, not onto ceilings.
