I often wonder why the national companies haven't managed to widely export these or produce them elsewhere, I think a lot of people would really enjoy it. People ingest guarana to treat obesity, to increase athletic performance, energy, as an aphrodisiac, among many other conditions. Looks like these bottles look about the same, or even exactly the same, still, judging from results on Google Images.
Obviously guaraná and lemon-lime taste different, but you don't really need both in the same market. But it's only found in Southern Brazil, while Antártica is available nationwide, so the latter is much more popular. It's so much better than any other soda, specially in the US where Coke has something like 5 tons of sugar per milliliter. A soft drink factory by the name of Guarana Cyrilla launched in 1906 to produce the soda on a bigger scale. Father Bettenford also reported that the plant was often used in the reduction of fevers and headache.Weirdly, a mate-based soda is super popular in Germany, but when we had a (different) mate-based soda in Argentina it came and went very quickly. Even being more recent, the zero sugar version came to show that we are together, despite so many singularities.
of it's contents in Guaraná seeds, however even that was already too much caffeine so it didn't happen!Something I do know is that Guaraná soft drinks generally have really low caffeine amounts (they have less than 0. of the composition as actual Guaraná extract), meanwhile Brawl is highly caffeinated, not sure if added or just a higher concentration of Guaraná. The Brazilian "born and bred" cold beverage is known for its uniquely sweet flavour that does not overpower that taste buds. Children and adults alike definitely fall over themselves with the flavour and the sheer experience of being able to travel! I’ve found them extremely generous when I requested to send the sliced meat in sealed vacuum, so I can keep it in the fridge.
I first heard of it from watching PurePwnage, then it became a hipster soda in my town a few years later. Some popular soft drinks in the USA are unknown in Brazil -- such as root beer, Dr Pepper, and cream soda. Another interesting thing about Guarana is that it's a relative of Lychee, Rambutan, Longan, Quenepa, etc.
Over time, the taste of the pink drink has become less popular with people, but it remains quite popular in Maranhão, maintaining its original formula.
