About this deal

Here's one where we can really see that the chroma channel "resolves" the scanlines composing electro-Joi quite noticeably.

Stelline’s imaginary holodeck are brilliantly saturated, and the greyish look of other shots only contrasts these highlights even more. It has its definite moments that come to mind, I just won’t mention specially to avoid dishing out any “spoilers” of sorts. We always GUESSED Deckard was a replicant from hints Ridley Scott dropped in the 4 different cuts of the movie that were released, but nothing was ever SAID in the film (although Rildey himself has said several times in interviews that he always meant it to be obvious that Deckard was the same thing as what he was hunting). The other group that might want 4K would of course be the movie collectors who want "the best" quality for the collection. That’s a very impressive sequence itself, and I would hope my comparison would tell you how amazing this mix truly sounds. nits and a Maximum Luminance of 10,000 nits, making the disc one of the first to use the full dynamic range available to HDR.

Gosling wears this introspective awareness in every scene as a character who is constantly evaluating his presence and his sense of place. delivers a terrific 4K UHD Blu-ray featuring a truly gorgeous 4K image presentation with an arresting and impactful Dolby Atmos mix.For the week that ended on January 27th, Warner Home Entertainment's Blade Runner 2049 kept its hold at the top of the Blu-ray-only and overall package-media charts. He’s known back at the LAPD headquarters as “ constant K” for being consistent on a constant fashion and not going haywire. Like the original Blade Runner, its huge, expansive soundscape allows you to take in the details of this impressively realised world.

Some shots and scenes it's difficult to spot any real difference, but in scenes that feature deep shadows like Wallace's dark office or Sapper Morton's dark, shadowy home. Blade Runner, in any one of its many different forms, was always a little ambiguous, with grander themes and ideas that added to its mythos. Coming out of Sicario I was excited to see what Villeneuve could do with Arrival as the original short story was so short but heady. Master Audio mixes here sound amazing, going back and watching the Blu-ray for visual comparisons, I decided to opt for a player t The fact that these sentient creatures are living slaves for a race who wants to feel like they’re not doing something wrong. My only fear is that the film does leave it OPEN for a sequel and in this day and age I worry that Warner or some other studio head decides to milk the franchise and let the quality slip. Fine detail is excellent, whether it's the track conveying the crunch of footsteps on snow or the noise Joi makes when she transitions.
