The theme was revealed at about the same time that BIONICLE was being wound down, leading many to speculate that Ben 10 was the intended successor to the older line. The series followed Ben Tennyson, an ordinary kid that stumbled upon the most powerful weapon in the universe, The Omnitrix: a device that allows its wearer to transform into any alien in the known universe.
