I also own the mythic, rider waite, angel cards, fairies cards, runes, and other tarot, yet i have never come across something as enchanting and spritual as this deck. There is a headline on the little white box: “Caring for your cards”, which includes suggestions for decorating this box with symbols of protection and power, wrapping the cards in a protective cloth or placing them in a bag, and storing the cards with quartz or other stones to purify their energies. In the Gilded Tarot Deck, the fiery imagery found in the Wands suit reflects the transformative nature of fire, igniting the spark of motivation and propelling individuals towards their goals.

The book contains detailed descriptions of the cards, accompanied by the elementary principles of tarot divination. The deck abounds with medieval magicians, priestesses, emperors, and knights who will help you unleash your divinatory power. The Gilded Tarot isn’t one to use for its comparative historical symbolism or occult and esoteric depth, but the card images are unique and beautiful, feeling more like a beautiful fantasy or the inhabiting of a hyper-real dream-world than the Rider-Waite ever did.Each card embodies a specific archetype, capturing its essence and enabling the reader to tap into its inherent wisdom and energy. The cards are approximately 2 3/4" by 4 1/2", which make for an excellent size for small hands to work with. Whether you are an expert reader or just starting your tarot journey, a tarot mini will be an exciting and practical addition to your collection. Size-wise they are not the large ones so easier to hold and shuffle and the card quality is good - my first set still has no corner separation after a lot of use.
