El arte de Inoue, como siempre, es un absoluto gusto de ver. Me sigue volando la cabeza el hecho de que esto fue hecho hace más de 20 años. ¡Ya quiero leer el volumen siguiente! Vagabond Vol. 17". Viz Media. Archived from the original on October 18, 2006 . Retrieved June 28, 2009. Vagabond Vol. 8] (in Japanese). Kodansha. Archived from the original on August 30, 2009 . Retrieved June 28, 2009.Matahachi isn't given much time in this omnibus but when he is, he steals the identity of a famous swordsman, that of Sasaki. Overall, I enjoyed the character development in Musashi, he seems to be more of a human and less of a demon, especially since the mountains were his only mentors, and that was a nice touch. He finds a new sensei to train under and now his goal is apparently to defeat Inshun. Miyamoto's heart did grow softer especially after he defeated the Yoshioka clan. I'm not even sure who set it on fire yet.

Vagabond is a fictional retelling of the life of Miyamoto Musashi, often referred to as the "Sword Saint" - perhaps the most famous and successful of Japan's sword fighters."I do appreciate seeing where Matahachi is going, his journey and his growth I think will be great. However, I...was kind of spoiled by the author admiting that he was a historical figure and the archenemy of Miyamoto. Which like, fair. This is a historical figure, and this is based on a popular Japanese movie. Soooooo, I'm thinking this is less of a spoiler and more a part of history. Vagabond Vol. 10". Viz Media. Like a half of this volume is spent hanging from a tree. It's by no means a bad thing - the main character needed some time to cool off and think - but I feel that it took maybe a little too long, and spent most of that time repeating the same few talking points with maybe some small variables. Chapter 5: The Impact of Vagabond Vagabond has had a profound impact on the manga industry and its readers. In this chapter, we'll explore the legacy of Vagabond and how it has influenced other works in the genre. We'll also take a look at the cultural significance of the series and how it has resonated with audiences across the globe.

If you like Manga that does not romanticizes war or swordsman, Vagabond should peak your interest. The storytelling is excellent in the drawings, more so than the text. I would rank such adept skill in the same arena as Lone Wolf and Cub. LWC is the standard for balancing poetic story telling and showing the hardcore grit of life as a swordsman. The Vagabond sereis starts with a youth, a teen, not a man with a child. So Takezo maturity is not yet there. What drives him to succeed and overcome his past makes this series promising. The characters show a range of emotions in this manga, and the situations they deal with does an excellent job of targeting a mature audience. Takezo struggle for "his" truth becomes ours to learn from his journey about becoming complete. Though he is quite rude and unruly in the beginning, it is his same dare devil attitude that allows him to meet and fight very skilled swordsmen who leave him with another bit of knowledge to aid him in his quest of becoming the most skilled swordsman. Like…Takuan! I knew from the very moment Takuan was introduced that he would be a big help to our wild monkey Takezo.
